Save South Sudan Matching Challenge - EXTENDED
The suffering in South Sudan is unimaginable. 50,000 children could be dead within weeks. More than 900,000 are already suffering from malnutrition. 1.5 million people are in desperate need of food! All the fighting and violence between government and rebel forces have made it nearly impossible to plant crops.
On top of that, many Christians enslaved by Arab masters in the north are fleeing to South Sudan with nothing but the clothes on their backs. They’re terrified. They’re starving. But you can bring help, hope, healing ... in the name of Jesus!
Friends of this ministry have been so touched by your response that they have extended the “Save South Sudan Matching Challenge.” Any seed-faith gift you send by midnight December 31, will be matched dollar – for – dollar up to $100,000 to save the lives of children and adults in this devastated land, providing them with life-sustaining emergency food.
Today, you can help Bridge of Hope rescue Sudanese Christians like Atak. She was abducted by Arab raiders, forced into a life of hard labor and beaten every day. Her master raped her and got her pregnant. But one day she found a way of escape, and fled on foot hoping for safety.
She walked for a month, heavy with child until finally arriving in South Sudan. Atak gave birth one week later, devastated when she found there was no food. “We eat leaves from the trees,” She cries. “I pray every day for someone to help.”
You can be the one who help feed Atak and others like her in South Sudan!
Please help Bridge of Hope send the love of God and the practical help of food and water to take care of families like Atak! Because of the Matching Challenge, every $48 you give today will help us save two families from excruciating hunger, and help us preach the Gospel to a lost and hurting world through our Breakthrough television broadcast. A very generous gift of $96 you give today will help us supply emergency food to four families!
Be assured that God will bless you for this. He promises in His Word. Proverbs 19:17 declares, “He that hath pity on the poor lendeth to the Lord; and that which he hath given will He pay him again.”
Our Lord has called us to Sudan. God loves these people. He has bestowed on us the privilege of ministering to them in Christ’s name. He blesses those who help the poor. Trust His Word, and give generously.
